"Bądźmy wolontariuszami!/ Let's volunteer!"

9 month EVS activity , which will be attended by three volunteers from Ukraine, Armenia and Słovenia is a based on four previous EVS projects implemented by the Volunteer Center . The theme of the project is twork for the development and promotion of local and international volunteering communities Kielce region and development of social activness of young people through the creation of the Youth Information Point - a place of support youth initiatives , youth rights and youth policy. The aim of the project is to increase social activness , especially in the form of volunteering among residents of Świętokrzyskie region , in particular young people as well as to encourage young people to be active through volunteering , local and foreign (participation in EVS ) , create their own initiatives , involvement in youth policy , active participation in the creation of the cultural life of the city and the region. The key point is the selfdevelopment of EVS volunteers , staying on the project in Kielce. During their stay , volunteers will organize meetings and workshops for young people to promote volunteering and activness , will be involved in trainings and developing their skills in the activities of Polish language and culture. Volunteers will provide support for young people who want to realize their own initiatives or engage in activities in the field of youth policy. In addition , they will carry their own voluntary actions . The effects of the project is increased social activity in the region and opportunities for supporting different types of initiatives. What's more , the result will be the selfdevelopment of EVS volunteers and their greater awareness of the country in which you have lived. Also awareness of the inhabitants of Kielce on cultural diversity in Europe will increase by actions EVSów and their daily lives within the community of the city. These effects can be seen both in the short and long term .
