Bacon Slippers is a project developed by the Finnish group of youngsters and its purpose is to put ones mind to different countries myths and mythologies. With this youth exchange youngsters aged 13-25 will develop their paradigm, deepen in to cultural knowledge, learn about filmmaking, learn form each others differencies, grow as persons, increase courage to speak and learn new foreign languages and improve their already existing linguistic skills. get to know each other, build trust and build possibilities for future co-operations and reduce hostility between Greece and Macedonia and add co-operation between the participating countries. At the result of the exchange will be written and filmed a comedy-movie about participating countries myths and mythologies (youngsters will choose the method and how it is done). Finnish group size is bit bigger than the other countries (Fin 15+2, GRE 6+2, BUL 8+2 & MAC 8+2) After conversations between partner countries they said its harder to activate youth to participate (especially youngsters at Greece). Different kind of groupwork- and dividing to smaller groups activities will ensure that learning between cultures is guaranteed and no one is left alone.The youth exchange contains 2 phases wich of the first phase is held on 1-8 of september 2016 on Sauvo, Ahtela and second phase is held on may 2017 in Athens, on the root of mount olympos. Main activity of the first phase is scripting the movie and second phase main activity is the actual shooting of the film.Objectives of the exchange is to network, brake the barriers of cultural differencies, prevent the alienation of the youngsters, decrease hostility and add co-operation between participating countries and activate youngsters to be active citizens. Both of the exchanges 2 parts has also own individual objectives. Youngsters will plan together the whole program and it will include trustbuilding-, groupwork- and namegames wich all will help to reach the objectives of the exchange. The exchange will also exert in to many performing art since the participants will be express mythologies to each other and act and film a movie. Also we will go to visit local operators and professionals wich will help gain knowledge to the film shooting as well as increase ideation. Participants will be developing theri linguistic , co-operation, social and equality skills. Participants will also gain courage to be a part for the future projects and to be active citizens in local and international level. Participants will share their experiences and cultures between themselves and afterwards to their friends and families. Participants will create life long friendships wich will improve their possibilities as well as open their mind more. Local operators will benefit little bit financially during the exchange and the organisations will develop by having conversations and sharing their experiences wich they will use and adapt in their work
