B.E.S.T.-Better Employable Stronger Team
Date du début: 1 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The B.E.S.T (Better Employable Stronger Team) project will take place in Hidiselu de Sus, close to the city Oradea. It will have two parts: a seminar and a youth exchange. The participating countries in the project are: Italy, Romania, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Hungary, and Turkey. There will be 21 participants on the seminar, 3 youth workers from each country and 35 participants on the youth exchange, 5 from each country. The project will take place in the fall of 2015, where the participating youth workers of the seminar will establish a strategy for helping the youths in their country to enter the labor market, and the youngsters of the exchange will get the chance to learn different methods, and to develop skills and competences that will help them in future employment. The target group for the seminar consists of youth workers, having no age limit, who are continuously working with the youth. The target group of the exchange is formed of people aged between 18-25 with a strong interest towards the theme of the youth exchange and open to exchange views and opinions. The project idea is based on our past experiences (we implemented several Youth Exchanges regarding this issue: Be independent, Youth on labor market, Job searching in web2.0) and identifying the difficulty of achieving a relevant change in this issue with periodic projects. We want to ensure the adequate context for improving the key competences and skills relevant to the labor market by developing a common strategy, creating this way a well-based, attainable plan. The objective of the seminar is to develop a common strategy with the youth workers, which they can implement in their own countries and organizations. The objectives of the exchange are to develop a 5 year theoretical career plan that can serve as a guideline for the participants in their future, also to develop skills and competences that will help them in their future employments. For achieving our goals, we will use the following tools/methods: round table discussions, creative problem solving, workshops, role playing games, practical exercises, intercultural evenings, presentations. We expect that after the seminar, the youth workers will return to their organizations with a well-developed common strategy, and that they will implement it successfully. We expect for the participants of the exchange to have more skills and competences after the project, helping them to get employed, also we expect to see a change in their attitude, taking a more active part in the social life.
