Avrupa'ya Engelleri Kaldırmaya Gidiyoruz.
Date du début: 3 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 2 sept. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our project has been prepared in the coordination of Artvin Special Education Job Application School and with the partnership of Trabzon Sürmene Special Education Job Application School and Rize Special Education and Vocational Education Center School and submitted for the disabled students who study in these three schools. Six disabled students from three school participants, totally eighteen, will partake. These students have mild or moderate mental disabilities and hearing impaired. Therefore our project involves the people who are at the age of fourteen or above and who can’t take the advantages of educational opportunities which the people from the same age group and haven’t got any kind of disabilities can. Three teachers from Rize, three teachers from Artvin and three teachers from Trabzon will accompany our students. Although the disabilities that are the subjects of our projects are classified into three groups, their training needs are the same. It is the need of our students being included in the process of rehabilitation in every sense. Developing disabled people’s professional skills is the most important need in the process of rehabilitation.Although the people who need special education have different personal status, teaching methods and contents shows a similar structure. While our participant students of the project have different individual handicaps, the vocational education that they are going to take in the fields of Packing and Logistic will be in a homogeneous structure. This project, which was prepared in accordance with the needs of our students’ professional developments and their rehabilitations, aims to help our students to improve their professional skills by internship activities in the fields of Packing and Logistic packaging. Although our students are benefiting from the advantages of the educational facilities in their schools they are deprived of the opportunities of doing internship due to the lack of workplaces where they can improve their skills and professional educations. The prejudice which exists in the employment market in general is the most important cause of this situation. From this point of view when our project is put into practice, our students’ professional skills will be improved and when their abilities come out, it will contribute to eliminate the prejudices that exist in the employment market. All of our students, who are at the age of fourteen or above and who need special education, have 40% workforce loss. These people are going to participate in the internship activities during 14 days, except for the travel time, in the corporation named Stephanus Werkstatten in Berlin, Germany which is our foreign partner. Our students get involved in the employment process with their professional developments and skills they gained as a result of this practice. From this aspect, our project’s main expectation is that our students can be placed to work as having a profession. Our project Mobility 01/04 / 2017-16/04 / 2017 between the dates (including travel time) will be held to 18 disabled students and 9 accompanying teachers.
