Avrupa'da Uygulamalı Mesleki Eğitim Gelişimi
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our project named “Practical Vocational Training Development in Europe” has been completed with the two mobilities in February and March. 30 students and 2 accompanying teacher have participated in the project and the mobilities have been completed within 2 weeks of time. In the first mobility, 15 students from Electric-Electronic Technologies department has attended trainings and internship activities in the field of indoor and outdoor lighting at our overseas partner Jászberényi Katolikus Általános Iskola és Középiskola located in Jazsberenyi city in Hungary. The second mobility has taken place at our overseas partner NCT Akademia in Budapest; 15 students from Metal Technologies had the chance to get theoretical and practical training about oxy gas welding field. Vocational teachers have accompanied students during this mobility too. Participants from Electric-Electronic field have attended educational activities in subjects such as cabling systems in indoor and outdoor lighting, automatic lighting systems for inside and outside of the buildings, circle connections, remote lighting. Students from Metal field have focused on oxy gas welding subject. During that mobility, welding types such as, under gas welding, oxygen welding, tungsten inert gas welding, mig-mag welding and electrode welding are taught and practical training activities have been carried out. In addition to that, both participants from both mobilities have attended various cultural activities. The background and the concept of our project is based on the lack of cooperation between vocational training institutes and private sector. The construction market which is growing fast with each passing day in the country is also in a great growth in our province. But, our students could not become the intermediate staff that the sector needs, due to unanalyzable needs of the sector and insufficient practical metal and electric trainings. The technical constraining in our institute is causing unemployment issues and the trained personnel to be less efficient in our rapidly growing city Sivas and particularly in central Anatolia region. This situation is also negatively affecting our regional and national progress. The base objectives which are prepared while considering these deficiencies of our project; To develop our students’ vocational knowledge through overseas vocational training activities in the direction of given trainings To increase vocational eagerness through the activities To introduce our students who study Metal Technologies and Electric-Electronic fields to overseas technologies To introduce our participants to international terms of their fields and develop their vocational English levels To provide our institute with a strong institutional identity through the partnerships between overseas institutes. The project committee has taken responsibility in every stages of the project in order to accomplish all the aimed objectives that mentioned in our project proposal. The project committee has prepared a rota and made meetings before every activity such as selections of the participants, agreements with overseas partners, preparing participants for the mobility, carrying out the mobilities and dissemination of the project. Activities have been carried out sternly to the rota and all the written documentaries have been saved. Our participants have developed themselves in various fields through the overseas activities they attended during 2 weeks. Our students have increased their vocational capacities and employability through the practical applications and particularly vocational education. Besides, our students have observed overseas applications at site through the firm tours; got to learn technological differences and innovations. Participating students have developed lingual capacities through the language educations they received before the mobilities. Students who had one on one dialogues with foreign students during the social and cultural activities have now less shyness about speaking foreign languages. Our students have developed behaviorally by working in step with foreign students and got to experience discipline and job fit through receiving an education in a different environment. They have got the chance to experience a very different culture than theirs and got rid of their prejudices and took Europe as an example for themselves.
