Avrupa’da Öğrencilerin Kaynakçılık Stajı
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 1 juil. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Welding methods, which were previously used only for repairing damaged parts, take place among production methods used effectively in many areas of the industry such as spacecrafts, nuclear reactors, automotive, construction, machinery manufacture etc. in parallel with technology improving. In parallel with technology improving extremely rapidly, significant progress has been seen in welding technologies, and efforts for solution to industry’s changing demands have resulted in occurrence of new welding methods. TIG welding method, which gives chance to weld all kinds of steel and many metal apart from steel without any problem, is one of them which provides high quality welding results. TIG welding is the one which releases the least amount of welding fume among welding methods using open arc. Today, this method is completely used in chemistry and food industry, welding aluminum, stainless steel, bronze and copper. Rapid spread of the use of TIG welding method has brought in the need for technical staff qualified about this in manpower market. Our school detecting this need in manpower market, Gölbaşı Vocational and Technical Education Center, aims to facilitate employment of the students studying in welding department in field of Metal Technology through this Project by improving their fundamental knowledge and skills about TIG welding practices. In this sense, a cooperation with enterprises operating in welding-production sector in Germany, Holland and Romania is founded and an internship for 2 weeks is planned. In case the Project is funded, 30 students in total from our school, Gölbaşı Vocational and Technical Education Center, shall benefit from the Project and directly join the manufacture process used in enterprises which use TIG welding methods intensely. Expected fundamental benefits of this Project are the fact that participant students’ knowledge and skills about TIG welding practices shall be enhanced, they will be integrated into the work life, and learn innovative and modern welding practices, improve their general and Professional foreign language skills. Our Project shall not only contribute to our participant students’ professional development but also to their personal development. The fact that the Project shall be conducted abroad shall give the opportunity to the students to get to know new people from different cultures and cooperate with them. Implicit benefits of the Project are the fact that participants shall have personal characteristics such as being entrepreneur, open to innovations, modest, ready for team work, having a work discipline etc.. Expected results of the Project are the fact that participant students shall be employed in welding manufacture sector thanks to the capabilities gained and by certifying these capabilities, and it will be possible to contribute to meeting the need for qualified technical staff demanded by manpower market. 1st and 2nd flows of the internship program which will take 2 weeks shall be carried out simultaneously in institutions in Germany and Romania between October 19 and November 2, 2014 and 3rd flows shall be conducted to workings in Holland between 2 and 16 November 2014. 3 teachers shall accompany the students as 1 teacher for each group of students.
