PROJET
TERMINÉ
Pre-school period which is specified as a critic period when self is founded, and 60% of mental development is completed is a sensitive period which influences an individual’s whole educational life positively or negatively. The quality of education in this period when cognitive, sensational, lingual, moral, social and psycho-motor developmental phases should be benefited most shall enhance the quality of the whole education system including vocational education. In such case, child development experts should be trained as qualified professionally in order to support our children’s improvement and self-care skills, to discover their skills and ensure them to an individual who are beneficial for their society.
Likewise, our students shall be employed in various and significant areas such as kindergartens and orphanage, nursery schools, special education institutions, care and rehabilitation centers, juvenile court and training houses affiliated with Ministry of Justice, activities to prepare and conduct children and youth education programs, producing children’s theater and films , preparing books, magazines and newspapers for children, producing educational toys after graduation. Even if they are not employed in any fields mentioned above, they shall raise individuals who will shape our future as a good housewife and mother.
Our school, and project partner schools, Lice Ahmet Toprak Multi Program High School and Bigadiç Vocational and Tech. Ed. Center, are vocational education institutions who undertake the responsibility for the things mentioned briefly above in Children Development and Education. As all schools sending participants operate in small district centers where kindergarten and nurseries which are insufficient in means of technical infrastructure and equipment and has few and limited opportunities, our students cannot be trained in accordance with the mission determined, and graduate without completing their professional development. It is aimed in our project that the needs of our students who graduate from our schools due to the insufficient opportunities for practice shall be met in modern and well-equipped kindergartens in Europe, their language development shall be empowered in addition to their professional development, they shall socialize and their self-confidence shall be built and their opportunity to be employed shall increase.
In order to achieve this aim, a partnership between Kindertagesstätte Lummerland in Cuxhaven city, Germany and Centro Social De Paraquia De Arcozelo in Barcelos city, Portugal and Przedszkole Samorzadowe in Bialystok, Poland. In this sense, modern techniques and methods shall be observed in pre-school education, the use of different educational materials shall become widespread, and significant improvements shall be realized in transformation and adaptation of European Union education and instruction systems in our country which moves forward rapidly to be integrated in European Union.
Methodology to be used in project shall be project management, education, promotion and evaluation. The project team to be established through project management shall coordinate the activities planned and ensure the project to be sustained without any interruption, through education method, our participants shall be enabled to reach at the target professional level, through promotion method the introduction of Ministry of EU and National Agency, primarily our schools shall be declared to large mass, and through evaluation method, the results shall be evaluated and a successful project shall be conducted.
Our project that will include 14 students from 3 schools sending participants to our project from 11th and 12th grades in Child Development and Education, shall be executed for 14 days in groups of 7 between 19/04 - 03/05/2015 and 10 – 24/05/2015 in 3 flows so 6 flows in total in different times. 6 teachers in total shall accompany the project participants.
At the end of the project, the results mentioned below shall be obtained:
*improving our students in Child Development and Education professionally by allowing them to observe innovative applications, different methods and techniques in pre-school educational institutions in Europe,
*helping our participant students to socialize and improve their spirits of entrepreneurship and self-confidence
*giving the experience to our students to have intracultural interaction and improve their language skills
*setting sustainable partnership with the institutions accepting the participants and sharing knowledge and experience
*enhancing the quality and capacity of education in our schools.
The long-term effect and gain from our project shall be the fact that our participants shall be employed in our country and abroad as a result of getting professional expertise and the quality of educationin our school shall be enhanced and pre-school education shall become widespread in our regions.
