Health technology is important for ensuring continuous quality of health services with plan and efficiently. According to the data of "Turkey Medical Device Industry Strategy Document", continuously growing world market for medical devices is around 368.5 billion. Turkey with 2.4 billion dollars (0.65%) is in 12th rank in this market. Tenth Development Plan, prepared in accordance with Turkey's 2023 targets; covers elements such as high, stable and inclusive economic growth, international competitiveness, improved manpower and sustainable use of resources and aims to increase the share of the world market in all areas.In Turkey, prominent manufacturers in the medical device sector are Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Samsun. Samsun, with nearly 60 companies especially in particular surgical hand tools production has become a production base. According to the report of 10th Development Plan Working Group on Medical Devices and Medical Supplies; needing skilled labor in medical device sector is a major problem. Also, Turkey one of the main strategies targeted at the Medical Device Industry Strategy Document and Action Plan is investing in qualified manpower needs of the industry.Employeers in the sector are required to have a high level of knowledge and skills, Therefore, required and qualified labor force by the sector is a serious problem for the industry, in terms of quality and quantity can not be adequately met by existing vocational training system.To meet this need in the district TR83, especially skilled labor is a serious problem for the sector so, the representatives of medical sector especially clustered in Samsun came together with the vocational training institutions whose mission is to train labor force and they have decided to make this Project in order to educate the qualified labor.The overall objective of the Project;:• to serve the growth and employment objectives foreseen in the European 2020 strategy and prepared 10th Development Plan in accordance with Turkey 2023 Vision• Medical Devices Sector in TR83 disctrict, to raise the demanded skilled labor and to contribute to regional and national thick .The specific objectives of the project:• In TR83 discrict, 60 students who are studying in the medical device industry, electrical and electronics, machinery , ICT vand metal technology, are undergoing training in the areas of training and education in business in Germany and Holland. After the Project 60 students can be employed in the medical device industry,• Ensure the participants’ employment after the training activities of the private sector s to medical devices• To develop the quality of institutions of consortium members and maket hem internationalized• To develop the cooperation between vocational training institutions with medical equipment sector• To contribute to the cultural interaction with the EU accession process• To Increase the level of knowledge and skills, linguistic and cross skills• To awake the interest in the Erasmus + program in medical devices TR83 districtThis is a consortium Project leading by Merzifon Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Amasya Vocational and Technical Anatolian High SchoolSuluova Şehit Erkan Ayas Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School,Havza Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School,Vezirköprü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High SchoolÇorum Vocational and Technical Anatolian High SchoolGümüşhacıköy Multi Program Anatolian High School The project’s name is “Education in Europe, Employment in Turkey”,According to the Project Plan; 11th and 12th grade students will be chosen as participant.15 students from Machine Technology From 16/04/2017 to 06/05/2017 (for 3 weeks) in Bildungs Centrum Nies Vocational School in Germany ,15 students from ICT from 07/05/2017 to 27/05/2017 (for 3 weeks)in RDM Makerspace Business in Holland, at the same time, 15 students from electric-electronic technology departments in RDM Makerspace Business in Holland and 15 students from Metal Technology in Günnemann, Grosse & Co. GmbH in Germany will be educated theorically and practically. The number of Total participants are 60.In Short run,• students will have the qualifications, information, skillis and abilites demanded by the medical device industry• Students will improve their skills and employment, linguistic, cultural and cross skills with their certificates,• Students will become individuals.with cultural values, broad horizon, the vision • our institutions will develop sustainable partnerships with national and international partnerships,• Members of the consortium will increase the quality and capacity of administrative• Participants will contribute to regional, national and international strategies and plans.
