For the 3rd consecutive year, LEAP du Tertre organizes European mobility internships within the Erasmus Programme projects. In 2015, 23 young people have benefited from this exchange program for discovering a new country, a new culture and a new professional environment in Malta. Young people have done their internships in food sales points (supermarkets, super market ...). As convenience stores, customer reception was different with what they could observe in French sales structures, which was a key point of comparison between the two approaches, French and Maltese. Thus, the first week of training was dedicated to observation, to understand the context of the company and its operations. During the second week they could perform some easy tasks such as Facing and shelving, while taking English courses in parallel. The last two weeks were more devoted to achieving spots in contact with customers independently. students were accommodated in host families which favored the linguistic and cultural immersion for 4 weeks, where they were able to perform several activities of a cultural, such as guided tours of natural monuments, cinema, residence for people elderly. The survey conducted for the return of students showed that 90% of them have improved their skills in sales techniques, practice their English with the desire to further develop the use of that language. This mobility has achieved all the goals previously set, namely: - Develop different expertise, - Fostering the versatility and adaptability, - Encouraging mobility and autonomy, - Gaining confidence, - Encourage further studies, - Engaging in a European project and to develop cultural awarene At the town of La Ferte Bernard, the school is recognized as an actor turned to Europe and to Malta, which helped to develop relationships with: - Other high schools in the region, who wished advantage of this experience, - Internship structures - The house of Europe of Le Mans In May, the students went on internship in Malta organized the Europe Day at LEAP du Tertre for a feedback and share their experiences with other students, the teaching staff of the school and guests.
