Ausbau des immersiven Unterrichtens in der Grundschule

Europe is growing closer together, so multilingualism is a basic necessitiy. In this context, English has become very important as it is the universal language. Between the ages of 4 and 11, it is very easy for children to learn foreign languages. Due to that, two classes per grade are taught English at our primary school. The other classes will be taught with CLIL. The in-service training course will help with this. We will send two members of our staff to an in-service training course in Great Britain where they will learn methodology and didactics of teaching in English. They will use their new knowledge in class and they will also share this knowledge with their fellow colleagues. The staff will strengthen its skills in immersive language teaching. English projects will be developed, performed and evaluated. The skills that they gain will help impart the English language in a variety of motivating ways.
