Talsi Basic School is the biggest basic school in Talsi region. There are 231 student and 37 teachers. The priorities of work are: the quality of education, professional competence of teaching staff, socialization of students and cooperation between families and society. One of the aspects of school development is participating in the project of Erasmus+ programme that is becoming more popular in Talsi region. The participation in Erasmus+ KA1 has promoted teachers to take active part of their self-evaluation. The teachers do not want to stop this process because of understanding the best sides of this project in getting new knowledge.6 teachers of Talsi Basic School are going to take part in the project. They have shown great activity in school’s everyday life, they have organized and made projects of different school events, they regularly take active part suggesting improve teaching and pedagogical work, they are interested to improve their professional skills.In the questionary teachers mentioned several parts of school life that should be taken as the most important and most of them are priorities of school work strategic planning. • developing learning skills;• providing creativity• Using IT technologies in studies and promoting development of students• rising effectively lesson quality with using different new methods; • provide safe and positive emotional un physical environment in school.The project “Growing together with age and a student” is like a promotion to develop continuously. Teachers must work up-to date and be a step forward their students. Course “ICT for Teaching” offers to study new IT methods for using them in several teaching subjects.As aggression is becoming a part of our lives and cooperation skills should be made and improved, especially treating different people or facts, the course of “Drama Preventing Violence at School” is made for learning to develop positive relationships among students.Course "Game-Based Learning" offers to emphasize the importance of games in the process of education, that is essential in any age and any subject.Predictable results for improving learning process and school environment:1. The teaching staff has participated in the project of Europe- Erasmus+ as an active and modern school.2. Teachers has got useful experience in making documents according to the mobility course requirements and solving different situations of everyday life.3. The skills of English language and using IT are improved.4. Integration and perfection of several subjects are made, using new IT.5. New methods and techniques are phased in teaching and educational process.6. New techniques are studied for improving relationships among schoolchildren, for school emotional environment, for reducing aggression, understanding and accepting different classmates.7. Latvia has been presented in Europe. Teachers show themselves as representatives of their region and country, being citizens of Latvia. Self-confidence of teachers has been perfected. 8. Activity and mental outlook of teachers is improved.9. Teachers are encouraged to take part in international projects.10. New contacts are made with other European Countries with possibility to make new projects together, involving schoolchildren and colleagues.11. Experience of the courses will be shared with teachers of Talsi Basic School, webpage, Methodical association of Talsi, Roja, Mersrags and Dundaga districts, mass media and social nets. It will also encourage other colleagues to take part in similar further Erasmus+ projects.
