This two-year educational staff project aimed at the exchange of ideas concerning curricula and teaching methods, with the help of carrying out observation periods and job-shadowing at Osterhojschool in Ballerup. Furthermore we intended to develop a successful long-term school relationship in different fields. Altogether we sent out five teachers. Four teachers spent one week job-shadowing in primary lessons during different periods in order to observe the use of media as well as English lessons. In addition there was the idea of gaining new skills in the field of teaching special needs children in an inclusive way. The schools did the following projects: pupils' exchange in 2015 and support in taking part in the Lego competition. One teacher took part in an in-service training course in the UK to develop her language skills but also to find potential partners for future projects, e.g. building up a scholarship to schools in other European countries. All in all the school visits, the observation periods as well as personal conversation and exchanging ideas made our educational work at school more motivating to both, teachers and pupils.
