The Vocational School "Eike von Repgow" wants to develop their quality of teaching under the basic principle of a liberal-minded school working with strong partners allover Europe. The cooperation with vocational schools and institutions in Europe contributes to an improvement of mutual understanding. The mobilities will involve students in the 2nd year of their vocational training in different professions as well as members of the teaching staff. The participating students shall achieve a higher intercultural competence and get the chance to to use their knowledge and skills under the conditions of the European job market. Their role as representatives of our institution and of Germany will strengthen their personal and professional competences. Students who have been involved in international programs like Leonardo da Vinci or Erasmus+ will be able the spread the experiences at school and at work. As a consequence they contribute to a higher motivation of learning a foreign language and a positive attitude towards job mobility in Europe. Furthermore international experience is seen as necessary to establish an open and tolerant atmosphere at our school. The preparation and implementation of the mobilities requires a good cooperation between the vocational school and the training companies in Germany as well as in the countries of our partner institutions. This is an important part of successful vocational training and will have positive effects on the performance of our institution in the public. At the same time the training companies in our region can benefit from the extended competences of their trainees. Our school wants to achieve the title of "Europaschule". The cooperation between teaching staff of different countries is a basicrequirement to prepare young adults to the European job market. According to that the teaching staff needs knowledge and abilities to transfer international educational standards and to motivate their students. The Vocational School "Eike von Repgow" wants to achieve a long-term partnership with the involved partner schools. This fulfills the wish of teachers to work with international partners on a broader basis. International partnership is an important contribution to the improvement of the qualtity of teaching and education at our school.
