“Grow for others to grow: topical and qualitative adult education for healthy, integrated and creative society” learning mobility project is a tool for I-DEJAS MĀJA (abbreviated IDMāja) for strategic development promotion, which is based on four years successful cooperation with Eastern Finland Sports Institute ISLO and will long for 12 months (June 2014 till June 2015).
Using the adult education specialist mobility project core activities – teaching and job shadowing – in October and November year 2014 IDMāja educator will be able to improve herself professionally in ISLO Institute Dance and Somatic department, to render significant contribution for IDMāja’s further development activities. The actions and development strategy of IDMāja has been worked out in compliance with the goals of Europa 2020 and National Development Plan and directly affects innovation in educational sphere, promotes Europe’s lifelong learning, international dimension of education and indirectly relates to language learning improvement.
Learning mobility involves one participant – IDMāja director’s assistant and educator. She has 10 years broad experience with international project leading and 7 years experience in informal educational sphere.
Learning mobility activities: teaching in the form of regular classes; conducting classes in the form of a week long workshop; teaching approach assessment in the form of regular classes; assessment of developed training programs in the form of workshop; individual training of special topics, provided by ISLO teachers; systematical mentoring and good practice sharing; outspreading of results; project evaluation.

The project will be fulfilled in several steps: 1) preparation (objectives and preferred goal adjustment; attraction of financial funding; document preparation; time management; language skill improvement), 2) implementation (2 months learning mobility, mentoring), 3) conclusion (mobility assessment, outspreading activities of project results, settlement of formal obligations)
Anticipated results of the project: participants advanced personal growth and improvement of professional skills and competencies; utilization of new methods in IDMāja’s existing dance and somatic courses; introduction and development of 2 separate new courses in Latvia, which will be taught in IDMāja; strengthening the international European dimension of cooperation between the two partner organizations.
Long term achievements: introduction of 4 new bilingual courses in IDMāja in two years time, 7-8 guest master classes a year, raising of teachers qualification in a long term learning mobility project with 2 organizations from abroad (KA104), well trained and educated academic teacher in dance and somatic, to qualify for implementing it in higher education institution in Latvia.
