Thanks to the 2014 called A-V-E-C- (Assoir, Valider, Européaniser ses Compétences) 17 students from level 4 (Vocational Leaving Certificate) and from level 5 (NVQ) went on work placement for 3 or 4 weeks to our exchange sites in San Sebastian (Guipuzcoa), Tudela (Navarra), Ejea de los Caballeros (Aragon) and near Viséu in Portugal. To all these placements we must add the 2-week language and technical improvement placement of one of our accompanying teachers in a farm machinery company in Ejea de los Caballeros.
These mobilities are part of the work placements and thus meet several goals, the main ones of which are:
* Meet the regulatory requirements of the diploma by carrying out work placements during the 2-year course or the 3-year course according to the diploma
* Confirm the school opening to Europe (theme of the school project)
* Perpetuate and strengthen our partnerships with the host companies
* Improve the students' and the accompanying teachers' professional, language and cultural skills.
The positive results on our students cannot be denied. More autonomy at work but also in everyday life, a transformed vision of the working world and of the other, the highlighting of knowledge and skills that were sometimes up to then not known, are the main features that can be observed leading for example the whole of our 3-year course students to register at the optional mobility examination.
To conclude, outside the strategic partnership promoted by our school and the aim of which is to create a common European tool to assess the students, these mobilities made it possible to sharpen the analysis of the needs of every participant and to test some functionalities of the computer tool that was then in the process of being created.
