Art Made Man through art therapies and handicraft

Art Made Man arises from 2 concerns: - The social and economic marginalization faced by the "weakest part" of the population of the countries involved, especially disabled and migrants who often live situations of mutual misunderstanding and non-acceptance in the society. - The dependent position of disabled due to a physical and / or psychological deficiency and of migrants due to the lack of cultural and identity reference points in the new environment. In this context, the specific aim of AMM is to develop and experiment an innovative methodology that integrates art therapy and craft in order to convey to the target audience professional and transversal competences that will enhance them in interpersonal relations and that will help them on adapting themselves in any social-working context. In summary the purposes of AMM are: self-fulfillment, self-identity , establish significant relationships and generative with the environment, empowerment process (art therapy workshops), cultural integration, (handicrafts workshops). Acquisition of practical-operative competences: to facilitate the inclusion of the target audience in the social-working context in which they live, absorbing culture and traditions through handicraft workshops.Promoting integration: by acquiring competences and personal and professional skills, the consortium intend to include them in the social network as productive and active members where they live taking roots for a shared view of a possible and psycho-sustainable world.We are active and integrated citizens not only by acceding to fundamental rights, but also when we are actively involved in fostering culture and meaning.The impact on the target audience is: 1. Short-term: resource and personal skills discovery2. Medium-term: acquisition of personal, interpersonal and vocational skills3. Long-term: portability of these skills in the social context of reference
