The project " English culinary culture for developing entrepreneurial skills in alternative tourism" aims to enrich and improve the acquired skills of 20 students , professional field "Restaurant "and four representatives of the school / teaching and non-teaching staff / from Vocational School "Aleko Konstantinov" Mezdra, to learn new professional vocabulary, to explore and utilize established European practices and innovation technology in the modern cuisine and restaurants. By manufacturing practice in competitive terms , students will go beyond the traditional training , you will gain an understanding of the real work environment complying with European standards. The project beneficiaries are children from poor families , minority living in economically poor region . Students have professional experience in theoretical classes , practical training in a school kitchen in PG and practical in a real production environment - operating restaurants and eateries in Mezdra and surroundings. Priorities of the economic development of the Municipality village was tourism , which puts to professional education in the area required for the preparation of highly qualified specialists in the field of hotel and restaurant services , prepared by European standards . The project will enable the beneficiaries to enhance their foreign language skills , gain confidence in their abilities to learn and transfer new educational initiatives in the field of vocational education . The implementation of the project will proceed in two phases: Phase 1: Preparation of beneficiaries - will be held prior linguistic, pedagogical and cultural preparation , career-oriented , personal progress , intercultural and language skills of the students and the pedagogical and non-teaching staff. Phase 2 : Mobility 1.Practice for students abroad - 14 days . Period was considered so as to allow full implementation and upgrade the knowledge and skills acquired during the theoretical training. Activities on the preparation and implementation of the project will be distributed according to preliminary cooperation agreement . 2 . Organization of training courses for the staff - 14 days . Period is consistent with the teaching time and capabilities of the team to not have to replace absent teachers. By all participants in the project activities will be required feedback and report on the activities. The content of the training program for mobility of students is consistent with program planning practice and state educational requirements for acquiring tertiary qualification. It meets the needs of participants who were examined by the pre- survey. The content of the training course for teachers meet the needs of staff training and development of personal skills and Competences acquisition under development strategy " Europe 2020 " . The project will update and improve professional knowledge and skills that will motivate beneficiaries to be more efficient of the labor market . Familiarization with new content , techniques and methods of work will be in favor of the developement of alternative tourism in the area. Expected results from the mobility of students and teachers are: - Gained practical experience in the profession "Restaurant " 20 people in initial vocational training ; - Knowledge and experience in the profession "Restaurant " ; - Acquired knowledge and skills in key competencies . - Improved employment opportunities for young disadvantaged people in the restaurant and rural tourism. - Creation of lasting relationships between the partners on the purpose of exchanging ideas , programs and future mobility . - Raise the profile of vocational school " Al.Konstantinov " through quality vocational training .
