Towards a European dimension in education we need to define a field of ideas and applications relating to the identity of the European citizen , as it evolves under the modern requirements of globalization . Our school would like to prepare our students in creating an open attitude towards foreign countries which can be achieved if teachers have the opportunity to acquire skills and intercultural skills of project management. The acquisition of these skills presupposes the participation of teachers in appropriate seminars in collaboration with teachers coming from other countries so that the results are experiential . Training and meeting with teachers from other countries can broaden the horizons and the planning and the programming of the schools (taking part) involved, with the ultimate target being the opening of the school to the outside world . The main aim of the program to improve the skills and intercultural skills in project management. The three teachers who are participating ought to have the opportunity of further education abroad, they should possess sufficient and certified knowledge of a foreign language and also be able to incorporate the European and to transmit it to the school staff, the students of their school as well as to society in general. The participation of teachers in project management seminars is considered extremely important. Educational seminars will enable teachers to implement intercultural skills to European projects in the schools themselves. The participation of the school in such a European programmme, involving as many teachers and students as possible, can be a very strong incentive in creating intercultural learning with an aim at our European identity . The trained teachers can impart their knowledge and experience throughout the school community and can obtain sound reasoning which will absolve students from ethnocentric elements and negative images of classmates from different countries thus aiming at the highest possible social cohesion. This interaction aims at intercultural respect and can utilize the multiculturalism of the class as an opportunity for personal and group development. The broadening of skills for both teachers and students helps to extend knowledge about Europe, something which should not end in the classroom but which now acquire a character lifelong education of citizens leading to their participation in European and international labor markets .
