An EU Postgraduate Training and Working Programme to achieve “Total Mobility” of postgraduate students across the EU
Date du début: 1 oct. 2010,

REASON:The mobility of postgraduate students to undergo a Job placement while achieving a postgraduate degree is limited by national boundaries. The principle of Total Mobility (Any Student in any country in any enterprise) does not work because of legal and fiscal barriers, among others:Despite some national initiatives have worked out partial solutions, such as going abroad working in a branch office of a national company abroad, still frontiers are thick lines not easy to trespass. The GAIA Programme - run by FUE and Fundación CIFF in partnership with many Spanish companies - succeeded in opening cooperation channels between a Spanish University and Spanish Enterprises abroad. But GAIA meets national systems beyond Spanish boundaries, making difficult to become an EU Programme.OUTPUT/RESULTS/PRODUCTSThe project will focus on National Case Study, setting up Working Groups of EU Enterprises and Higher Education Institutions (WP1), to issue guidelines and harmonize procedures (WP") and will conclude with the elaboration of an homologise EU Postgraduate Training and Working Programme (WP3) to facilitate the mobility of the students across the EU.IMPACTAs consequence of this project:- A dialogue will be open between Universities and Enterprises that will crystallise in the setting up of an Online Network-Community- Elaborate National Case Studies and a recommendation-conclusion reports that will propose reforms to harmonise national systems to multiply job placement and training.- Identify mechanism and procedures to facilitate the mobility of postgraduates students across the EU, under the principle of "Any student in any country in any company" and making recommendation for harmonisation of national policies to the EU- Develop an online training and working programme to fuel the mobility of students across the EU.
