Date du début: 17 juin 2014, Date de fin: 16 nov. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Taking into consideration the difficult situation that lead millions of people to abandon their families and their countries and also the experience we gained while interacting with people that achieved through difficulties to reach their destination, we decided to launch activities in order to inform, educate and encourage people to react. The Immigration Issues should not only concern the National Governments but need the contribution and interaction of each citizen as well. Respecting the Human Rights, the right to live in a friendly and healthy environment, we decided to create a project in order to fight against violence, racism, xenophobia, aspects that nowadays have dramatically increased. The exchange took place on Lesvos island, located in the northeastern Aegean Sea. It 9 days from 12th till 20th of September 2015 and 36 young people were invnted to participate, 6 from each country (Greece, Spain, Armenia, Palestinian Authority, Poland, Romania). We have planned an Advanced Planning Visit in Elefsina city from 12th till 14th of June 2015. The participants were young people volunteering in the partners? organizations, active members of their society and who have worked on subjects regarding Human Rights. A big percentage of the participants were young people with fewer opportunities (financial, social, geographical difficulties, immigrants etc.). The schedule had many interactive activities based on non-formal education. Our goal was to inform, exchange experiences, thoughts and ways of acting, regarding immigration matters, such as racism, xenophobia, multicultural, exclusion, etc. The participants after their involvement in the project will achieve to increase values such as dialogue, respect of diversity, rejection of violence and understanding the European Union Institution. They will also gain skills like team work, cooperation, communication, creativity, negotiation, influence; tools that will help them to share their experiences and knowledge to their society. They will become more active and more effective at individual and social level. This project meets the principals of freedom, democracy and respect of Human Rights, main principals of the European Union.
