Date du début: 1 oct. 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Project under the name ¡ Germany with taste II! is an Erasmus + Programme ( VET) developed by part of the staff of María de Zayas y Sotomayor High school and is aimed at Intermediate Vocational Training students of the following cycle: “Technician in Bakery, Patisserie and Confectionery”, from the professional family Food Processing Industry. This project is a continuation of IVT projects submitted in 2011 called "Alemania, dulce y salada" (Project 2011-1-ES1-LEO01-33367), which allowed which allowed six students of “ Bakery, Patisserie and Confectionery” to go to three different German cities, Aachen, Lubeck and Nurenberg, and the draft submitted in 2013 called" Alemania con gusto "(project 2013-1-ES1-LEO01-66743), which allowed six students from vocational cycles to go to Aachen. María de Zayas y Sotomayor High School pretends with this new project, to take full advantage as well as to use the experiencie in previous projects as a feedback, which will grant us, without any doubt, a better use of this new mobility. It has also been thought that all the students should stay in the region of Aachen, as it is more functional. It can be used as a shipping point for host organizations and it lets students beneficiaries of the scholarship feel more protected and centered on a single geographical place. The intermediary partner selected by the centre to receive the students while doing their training practice is The German Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Aachen, which already collaborated as host partner in the former project “ Alemania, dulce y salada” and " Alemania con gusto" dealing with students of “ Bakery, Patisserie and Confectionery”. This organizations has been chosen since it isa benchmark when we talk of implementing, developing and controlling the German system of Vocational Training Studies and it has a wide background in the field of international European programs as they already demonstrated in the former mobility project, “Alemania, dulce y salada." and " Alemania con gusto" General necessities in this project are directly related to those that appear in the curriculum of the Intermediate Vocational Training Education for “Bakery, Patisserie and Confectionery” and they are not but improving the qualification of students for their later incorporation to the labor market, knowing further productions or makings, working methods, production systems together with another culture and language that will definitely contribute to complete and improve their education. The main objective of this project is to enable students from these mentioned Vocational Training Cycles to carry out their training practice period in a country with a solid professional training as well as a consolidated catering and hospitality industry and a very well known tradition by its loafs of bread and delicious sweets. This mobility will help students to acquire and use further knowledge, abilities and qualifications that will improve their personal development, employability and participation in the European labor market. This project also hopes to achieve through the two mobilities of teachers requested, to widen and improve their training in order to to develop intercultural education, get in touch with different training systems. These mobilities will undoubtedly have a positive impact both on the learning outocomes outlined in the curricula as well as in the attitudes of the whole school. The city that we have chosen for this mobility is Aachen as it is placed in one of the richest regions in Germany and in the European Union. However, it seems even of greater significance the fact that it has a long lasting tradition in the making of sweets and typical bread and a remarkable gastronomy. Students will go to Aachen during the months of April, May and june of the year 2015, period when they will be carrying out the module “Working Training Practice” (“Formación en Centros de Trabajo”) , for second year of cycles mentioned before.
