The project Agricultural business center in Ciumeghiu-Méhkerék (ABC Ciumeghiu-Méhkerék) is implemented in the Romanian-Hungarian border region in Ciumeghiu Commune, Bihor County, Romania and Méhkerék, Bihar County, Hungary. The project involves rehabilitation of 658,15 square meters building in Ciumeghiu commune, an architectural monument, and 306,85 square meters building in Méhkerék.The main objective of the project is to re-enhance cross-border businesses in agriculture in Bihor-Bekes region, with benefits to both partners. The specific objectives to be achieved by this project are creating the structures for business in agriculture – ABC Ciumeghiu-Mehkere, diversification of free services offered to economic agents and sustaining cooperation between firms and enhance competitivity by training/information of human resources and common actions.The project main results indicators are:- Increase in the level of cross-border business cooperation for rural development - Increase in the number of marketing instruments and cross-border cooperation information on rural development businesses- Increase in the perseption of the economic role of rural area, sustaining small size businesses, number of businesses initiatives supported
