The project entitled "Organic farming a viable alternative for future workers in agriculture" aims to increase the professional initial skills in organic farming for the training of graduates of vocational school with high skills and ability, to know and apply correctly and effectively, according to European norms, rules of cultivation of organic products. The participants are 14 students of 11th grade (3rd year professional school), Worker in organic farming specialization from Technological High School Odobesti. They will do through the placement 120 hours of training practice related with the module "Technological features of field crops in ecological conditions" contained in the curriculum for grade 11th grade professional education 3 years, worker in organic farming qualification, approved by Annex 2 of the MO 3684/2015. Project partners are: La Unión de Pequeños Agricultores y Ganaderos (Union of small farmers and breeders of animals) Granada, Spain as the host organization and MEP Europrojectos Granada, Spain as intermediary organization. Mobility will take place in March 2017 in a single stream and will help provide a viable alternative for the youth from rural area, which is to practice organic agriculture, a domain requested in the labor market with great possibilities for development in our country. The placement matches the following training needs:-Achieving practical training in farms with a high degree of technologization that use culture technology in organic system;- Correlating the Curricula with labor market requirements;- Attractive practice-training, efficient, tailored to their level of assimilation;- Formation of skills related to preparation for integration in the workplace, the transition from school to work and teamwork, work skills and developing values and attitudes to facilitate access to other levels of qualification;-Experiences of working to help build a true picture about career opportunities;-Development of Linguistic, cultural and social skillsThe overall objective of the project:- Improving the general technical skills and the key skills of future workers in organic farming in order to facilitate their insertion in the labor market.Specific objectives:- Formation of practical skills, improving knowledge for getting productions in eco system, through training courses in Spanish farms, to ensure better employability.-Developing communication skills in foreign language, social, civic, digital and intercultural competencies, aiming to improve participants' personal development and to broaden their educational prospects.- Achieving and improving entrepreneurial skills by observing the ways of functioning and organizing of the family farms.During the internship, under the supervision of the internship tutor, students will do the following practical activities: achieving the optimal crop rotation for organic field crop, the use of the aggregates for mobilize the soil , obtaining organic fertilizer, administration of organic fertilizers, application of measures to combat diseases and pests in ecological conditions, preparation of herbal extracts for pest and disease control, use of equipment for ecological products administration in plant protection, harvesting organic field crop, packaging, the transport and storage of it.Results:For the 14 students participating at the mobility:-Competencies, skills and superior technical knowledge in organic agriculture, acquired through work experience in a professional environment recognized in the labor market;-Technical -competencies improved, allowing them greater occupational mobility to changes in the labor market;-Formation of skills for evaluating the level of preparedness against the requirements of a job,-Creating strategies for career development,-European Certificate that enhance their employability,-Realization of a training firm as organic family farms through to harness the entrepreneurial skills acquired.For the institution:-14 individual portfolios of practice that could be used in specialty classes;-An auxiliary entitled "Achieving field crops in ecological conditions",-A film about making ecological field crop that includes all the necessary works,-The use of European instruments to ensure the transparency of qualifications and labor mobility,-Presentation materials and dissemination of the project.
