This 8-day training course to be held in the region of Castilla y León (in Spain), with the name of "Agile Project Management in Erasmus+", it's an innovative activity that will work with Agile methods and international project management, adapted to a practical implementation in the field of social work and especially in the field of youth work. This project aims to provide a training in Agile methods of project management adapted to the youth field, for youth workers and / or youth leaders (on staff or volunteers) that carry out or will be in charge in the future of international projects in the framework of Erasmus + program. In this training, the participants will acquire the necessary competences to implement and use these innovative methods in their organizations, improving their skills in managing international projects. It is a course of 8 days (including travel) for 28 participants plus team. These participants come from a total of 20 different organizations and 15 countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Spain, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal and Romania). During the course, participants will perform a number of activities where they will gain or increase their knowledge on international project management and Agile methods; they will get to know new concepts and methods, analyze the work they routinely perform, experiment options for change and implementation of these new methods at work, share tips and experiences, discuss developments that are taking place in the field of international project management in the field of youth work, as well as the options offered by the new Erasmus + program. The methods used are those of non-formal education, where learning is done through discussions, group work, interactive sessions, exchange of experience, experimentation and creative processes, reflection, etc ... The expected results are related to an increase in the quality and quantity of international projects with young people, especially within the framework of Erasmus + program; as well as the possibility to acquire new competences in Agile methods for project management, typically used in technology and software development, and that in this case have been adapted to be used in social and youth projects. Possible long-term benefits would be the introduction of this new methodology in project management in the youth field (the Agile methods) in the regular work of the organizations; this would affect both the project managers and their organizations, having an impact on the young people, the local communities, and the networks they usually work with.
