ADDY: Addicted to Europe – Competences through Mobility

C & Q Bildungszentrum Haberhauffe GmbH is a vocational training provider from Berlin. For over 20 years C & Q offers practice-oriented further qualification in growth industries (Biotech and Life Sciences, Energy and Environment, Knowledge and Content Management, Personality and Society, Knowledge and Organization, Occupational Health and Safety). Furthermore C & Q provides clients with comprehensive advice in all aspects of organization and human resources development and knowledge management and is also active in the field of recruitment. The main objective of the project is the expansion of European activities within C & Q, an increase in the quality of our courses and to optimize the methods used in adult education and training of employees of C & Q training center. The partner Gruppo L2 S.r.l. is a training provider of the region of Umbria in Italy. The company works as a language school, translation agency and in different areas of vocational training and further qualification. The owners and staff are experts in didactics and methodology of adult education and have many years of experience in transnational project management. Objectives of the project The main topic of the project is “Perspectives of Methodology and Didactics in Adult Education concerning specific target groups (participants of public funded courses; individuals, executive personnel and employees in SME)". In details: - Expansion of the international network of the C & Q Bildungszentrum, better understanding of the EU education policy, development of an open-minded attitude of the employees towards EU projects - Strengthening of intercultural competences, improvement of transnational project management, increased use or activation of language skills - Improvement of the methodological expertise of C & Q Bildungszentrum - Transfer of knowledge and experiences by the use of future-oriented technologies in adult education - Exchange of knowledge, methods and techniques concerning human resource development in SME; European and international comparisons - better understanding of the Italian labour and educational market and its requirements - Contact to Italian training providers and SME Participants Four employees of C & Q Bildungszentrum will take part in the project. The planned participants are experts in the field of adult further qualification. Their roles within the company are project or course manager. Some of them are experienced in European project management. Activities There are two learning mobilities to Italy planned for 2014 and 2015 with a duration of 6 or 7 days. Each time two employees of C & Q will participate. a) Preparatory Course in Germany b ) Realization of the flows in Italy: - Flow 1 : September 2014 – presentation of the institutions and projects, defining of the possibilities for future cooperation, planning of activities; exchange of experiences, realization of three courses about the following topics: Strategic development of the skills of training providers; Italian for beginners, Customer Relationship Management; contacts with companies and training providers of the region - Flow 2 : October, 2015 - Evaluation of previous cooperation; realization of two courses about the following topics: implementation of future-oriented technologies in adult education; development of human resources in SME; participation in a conference about the implementation of the national pilot project Teaching and Learning Center at the University of Padova b ) follow-up in Germany Project realisation There will be made an agreement with the Italian partner and the German participants, which includes the content of the project, the activities, work plan and schedule, duration and the obligations of all sides. Transportation, accommodation and subsistence of the participants and the implementation of the program will be organized by the C & Q Bildungszentrum in cooperation with Gruppo L2. The realization and the results of the project will be evaluated and documented after each flow. The monitoring is carried out by a working group in cooperation with C & Q Management. Expected results and effects, expected long-term benefits - Integration of the "European dimension" as an element of corporate strategy - Improvement of the methodological expertise of the company as a whole, increasing of the quality and attractiveness of the offers of C & Q - Expanding of staff competencies, activation of language skills - Improving the career prospects of C & Q customers by developing a bigger international network - Improvement of the consulting skills for SME by creating new solutions based on a comparative approach - Optimizing of processes in European projects by capacity building in transnational project management - Development of new projects and educational programs together with our European partner
