The Cultural Association "En Construcción" and the Chuvash Republican Youth non-governmental organization "Voluntary Center Sodrujestvo" have stablished a partnership to host an spanish young volunteer in Cheboksary from June 2016 to March 2017. The objectives of this project are to involve the volunteer in the promotion of international voluntarism as a practice of active citizenship, intercultural education and personal and social growth; to spread information about the initiatives organized in Chuvashia in order to promote the exchange and intercultural respect and to raise interest of youngsters in actions which stimulate international solidarity; and finally, to strengthen the mutual comprehension between youngsters from different countries.The volunteer will be involved in the following activities:1. To support the monitorization of ongoing long and mid term projects and to keep relations with international partners of the hosting organization.2. To promote international volunteering through seminars and workshops for the local youth.3. To support the trainings of youngsters organized by the hosting organization.4. To organize awareness-raising events on the theme of international voluntarism as a way of intercultural education.5. To approach the Spanish language and culture to russian youngsters.
