Date du début: 8 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 7 janv. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Active Youth for Active Europe is an 8-day training course dedicated to people working with youth. The course will be held on 28.08. - 04.09 . 2014, in the village of Kopaniec , near Jelenia Gora. The project will be attended by 30 participants from ten Programme countries, such as: Malta , Italy , the Netherlands, Lithuania , Croatia , Macedonia, United Kingdom, Slovenia , Romania and Poland . The project will address the theme of fighting against unemployment , which becomes extremely dangerous social problem, destructive to the social tissue, economic system, social security systems and mental health of young people, encountering impassable barriers in gaining employment. This problem is especially present among certain groups of young people: minorities, certain ethnic groups, people from poor areas or coming from disadvantaged families, less educated youth or young people with various disabilities. Exclusion from labour market often means marginalization and exclusion also from participation in the wider society. In our and our partners’ opinion special emphasis should be put on working with young people from groups that are in a particularly difficult situation on the labour market. Activities in the project will help youth workers to gain and deepen their knowledge and exchange of good practices in those three components: 1 ) Deepen understanding of phenomena such as social exclusion and inclusion, employment and unemployment among the less privileged, sharing knowledge and good practice in youth work and specifics of youth situation in different countries. We will also work on topics related to fight against social exclusion and poverty, deepening the understanding of the importance of improving situation of people with fewer opportunities, improving their impact on the socio-economic sphere, as well as increase their educational opportunities . 2 ) Another component will focus on providing specific "soft " skills that allow young people to improve their chances on labour market and are useful in creating their own projects ( skills related to management, career development, self-presentation, organization and time management ). 3 ) The third component will be devoted to planning of specific activities and creation of new projects. Participants will use gained knowledge, skills and attitudes working in their local communities, where the multipliers will be able to implement and co-create projects and ventures on the basis of experience gained during the training course.
