Date du début: 1 oct. 2015, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The world is facing a worsening youth employment crisis: young people are three times more likely to be unemployed than adults and almost 73 million youth worldwide are looking for work. The ILO has warned of a “scarred” generation of young workers facing a dangerous mix of high unemployment, increased inactivity and precarious work in developed countries, as well as persistently high working poverty in the developing world. (ILO, Resolution calling for immediate, targeted and renewed action to tackle the youth employment crisis). Therefore we need to adapt youth workers for challenging issues that youth experience. Youth workers need to be equipped and ready to tackle this worldwide challenge, to help youth to get opportunities and to strengthen competences for future employment. Therefore within the project we will develop methodology that will help youth workers to ensure quality support for youth when developing youth initiative, where they strengthen all main competences for enhancing employment. Youth workers will be trained and equipped and than will implement knowledge and gained skills, competences in practice by organizing local groups where they will ensure support for youth initiatives. Project will also have strong intercultural dimension as it will enable youth workers and youth from different countries, cultural backgrounds to meet, to develop good cooperation and to strengthen network of organizations, not only those that are part of the project, but also those that will use methodology, that will be developed during the project and will combine best practices and methods used during the project activities.
