Date du début: 1 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

AMSED (Association Solidarity Exchange Migration for Development), coordinates a short-term collective European Voluntary Service (EVS) with 10 French youngsters living in disadvantaged neighborhoods, with fewer opportunities and aged between 18 and 30 years. The EVS of one month will be held in Fez (Morocco) from 1 to 30 April 2016. The main objectives of this project are to provide volunteers with skills and knowledge enabling them to develop their social and professional inclusion. This project will promote active citizenship and fostering mutual understanding between French and Moroccan youth. The main themes of the project are the social and professional inclusion of excluded or marginalized youth and promoting the values of solidarity, equal opportunities through concrete actions by including street children, driven by poverty to leave their family home, while encouraging young people to engage in efforts to achieve a more inclusive society. This via creative activities in favor of street children in connection with the themes of equal rights, active citizenship and the fight against marginalization and exclusion. The project is based on the initiative and creativity of young people and adopt non-formal education methods, with and for young people, and in a process of "learning by doing" thereby facilitating the learning of the volunteers. The project of a short-term EVS was born from a strong interest among Alsatian young people with fewer opportunities to participate in a group short-term EVS to develop their capacity and knowledge to improve their employability. On the other hand, there is a great need for short-term volunteers to support the Moroccan Association in its activities for inclusion and fight against marginalization. The project objectives are to strengthen solidarity, promote active citizenship of young people and promote mutual understanding between young Europeans and young Moroccans. So this project is promoter of cultural diversity, which aims to enhance mutual understanding between peoples and promotes the active participation of young volunteers. Finally, thanks to the discovery of the socio-economic realities of Moroccan disadvantaged groups, EVS volunteers will be sensibilized to the issue of poverty and marginalization, and will be encouraged to engage in the fight against these scourges back in France.Young volunteers develop their initiative and creativity by offering various activities using art and culture for street children. Indeed, through the various cultural activities and non-formal education, 10 volunteers and an accompanist will address cross-cutting issues with street children, such as citizenship, equality of opportunity, the fight against marginalization. Volunteers will set up artistic animation activities based on non-formal education methods in order to generate the various exchange and sharing of ideas and educate participants on themes of active citizenship and the fight against poverty and marginalization. It is primarily creative and artistic workshops (dance, drama, music, frescoes, recycling workshops ...) in favor of street children followed by the partner local association ESD (Space Development Solidarity). Volunteers will also organize visits and meetings of associations working with and for youth promoting exchange of experience and personal and professional development of young people. Finally, they also contribute to the awareness of youth associations, local authorities and the media against this scourge through various workshops and the development of a local communication plan.Volunteers will be accompanied and monitored throughout the project (accommodation, transport, language courses). They will take their breakfast at the place of their accomodation, which will be located near the place of volunteering. Lunch will be procured by the hosting organisation, at the place of volunteering and in an empowerment approach; participants will prepare themselves their dinner at their place of living. Finally, the participants will receive pocket money for their personal expenses.
