Context: -cultural and ethnic diversity of the pupils living in Grigny -numerous newly-arrived students -population at risk -high drop-out rate -difficulty to find a meaning -insufficient language proficiency - young teachers who are sometimes experiencing difficulties with difficult pupils. Goals : - Struggle against early school leaving - Implementation of a school culture thanks to methodological learning and the discovery of new tools - Mastery of a collaborative and inventive pedagogy in order to create innovating projects - Avoiding widening the gap between teachers and pupils by considering the way pupils represent, relate to their school – helping them to convey a meaning to school (“ideal class”) - Keeping teachers away from the burnout syndrome Number and profile of the participants: 5 participants per training Forum theatre and artistic methods: 10 teachers between 25 and 45 years old, men and women, including 3 teachers in charge of a theatre workshop Socio-medical formation (BODY) : social worker, nurse, guidance counsellor Activities: Fotel training: 30 hours of forum theatre against school leaving Ariadne: 30 hours of body, health and sexuality from a cultural point of view. Methodology: Interculturality Non-formal methods Theatre Critical incidents Art Results: -Creation of a school culture in order to strengthen the collaboration between adults, and improve the coherence of their expectations towards the pupils - A decrease in the school dropout rate and of exclusion through disciplinary boards -Improvement of the welcoming of the newly arrived pupils and families -Diffusion of learning and new pedagogical techniques to facilitate dialogue between pupils and their families.
