The aim of our project is to raise the awareness among youngsters on youth policies, active and democratic participation and increase their knowledge about youth rights, to motivate and empower them to take active part in local decision making mechanisms by increasing their knowledge on this topic; so to contribute to rise their participation on social, civil and democratic life and to become individuals who has increased citizenship awareness.In the project, from 4 country (Turkey, Greece, Denmark, Malta) 28 people (6 participant and 1 leader from each group) will take a part in Mersin between 3-12 April 2016. The project will last for 10 days and the main activities will be;• Sessions for learning more about youth policies on different levels (international, national and local)• Youth rights sessions• Simulations, forum theatre implementations and debates for democracy and active participation, • Intercultural Learning Activities• Group building, teamwork sessions, orienteering in the city• Cultural nights, movie night and interactive nights• Creative Drama, Theatre of Oppressed Workshops• Cultural/touristic visits, side visits• Final forum theatre performance and seminar in universityAll our activities will be held in non formal methods, methodologies and tools. We will use name games, ice breaker exercises, group work, individual work, role plays, simulations, presentations, question-answer and discussion sessions, brainstorming, storytelling, learning games, creative drama techniques and theatrical techniques in our activities.Expected results and impact of the project:-To increase the awareness about youth policies, democratic and active participation and youth rights topics-To increase the awareness of youngsters on active citizenship-To increase social, civil and democratic participation-To increase the awareness of Agusto Boal's forum theatre ve image thatre techniques-To increase tolerance and empathy about different cultures
