During the project we will focus on following issues:I. Gender stereotypes, traditions and approaches of different cultures.II. Media influence on creation of gender images among youngsters.III. Crucial problems of youngsters (alcohol and drug abuse, sexual pressure in society, early pregnancy).Aim: The main goal of this project is to get together young people and create a program, which would raise questions of problems and obstacles existing in life of young people nowadays. We would like to focus on life of young people in modern society, influence of culture and society on their life decisions, different social problems they may face with and ways of solving them. We plan to do it by using various interactive methods, as well as visiting different organizations and institutions working with young people:1. Creating a short self-assessment, this will be completed by each participant and will help them to define their position regarding some key life aims. We'll compose a list of key points like drug abuse, gender equality, youth work, which will be provided with suggestions to evaluate their current level of knowledge and life position according to those points of each participant and group in general. This will be done after participants arrive to Tallinn.2. Getting deeply into work of an organisation providing help to those youngsters, who faced some major difficulties in their life (in this case it's drug addiction). It means that we want to see what they do, how they work and become a part of this process. We will spend 3 days at Vihmari farm, which is a rehabilitation centre for young people, who have dugs addiction, the idea is not come there as visitors, but actively take part in their daily life, so during those days, we will become part of daily life of the farm.3. Third part of the program will continue in Tallinn, combining discussion on our main topic and at the same time, visit organizations and institutions with young people in Tallinn. We also would like to pay more attention to self-evaluation then, comparing not only what do we do as organisations, but have can we cooperate as human being, what means collaboration for us, how we can listen to each other are we able to look critically at our own actions.
