In response to population ageing, the project seeks to offer health professionals an additional training tool in the form of a lifelong learning programme and a multilingual website focusing on age-related illness. The project focuses on Alzheimer’s disease and the main target group are the teams who work in pharmaceutical dispensaries – in particular, chemist assistants concerned with self-medication and medication of old people – with a view to helping them address this public health problem more effectively. The website will have an access for professionals and one for the public.
