The Departmental Council of Allier welcomed during a period of nine months (in October, 2014 to June, 2015) to take into account the French school year, a volunteer within the information center Europe Direct Allier of the service Europe strategy and International Cooperation of the Direction of land use and the Local Partnership. The main themes of the project are Europe and young people, actions of Europe in the direction of the youth. The main objective was to make sensitive the young people of Allier in the European citizenship and in the European mobility. To do it, the volunteer led awareness-raising activities to Europe by creating educational tools on the European mobility (brochures and presentations on prezzi), by communicating via the radio RCF ( weekly interventions), the monthly newsletter and the web site of the Departmental Council. Interventions with young people in leisure center, primary schools, students in IUT(UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY) or MFR allowed to make sensitive them in Europe. Furthermore, the volunteer was able to testify of his experience on the European mobility and better to make his country known, member of the EU, during interventions (Coffee Europe Lithuania, Caravan Europe Tour?). The volunteer also participated in the actions of animations planned in the Direct action plan of Europe to Ally (the Bus of the Memory, Wall of expression). The welcome of a volunteer within Europe Direct Allier was beneficial in terms of animation, and allowed to illustrate by the example an action of European mobility within its own The testimony of an European young person to speak about Europe had undoubtedly an impact mattering with the young people and it is the proof that the mobility is possible and desirable. His presence in Allier tempted other structures to welcome a young European volunteer (Points information youth, information centers Europe Direct Cantal and Haute-Loire). His presence engendered a better communication of the actions of Europe Direct Allier so in house that in extern.
