Accompagnement et Organisation
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 1 juin 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This application is made in an educational context. Over the last couple of years, we have noticed a change in our school population and in the world around (family, society in general, politics, economy, ... ). The measures applied in the domains of student support, and orientation, as well as the means and methods of communication therefore have to evolve, too. The changes urge us to adapt our offer to the new needs, thanks to new experiences and competences acquired through exchanges, jobshadowing and in-service training for our teachers. Our objectives are: - To improve our offer and the organisation of support courses for students with learning difficulties in order to make pupils have better results. - To institutionalise the mentoring and to improve the qualifications of our mentors in order to reach a higher level of satisfaction. - To offer extra-curricular courses, either of a degree of difficulty superior to the regular level, or courses that do not exist in the national curriculum. To reach this aim, we need very good and motivated pupils, but also teachers ready for new challenges. - To improve the communication inside our school, but at the same time communication with all our school partners (pupils, parents, administrations, the working world). In order to do so, we need to find more efficient means and methods of communication. The participants are teachers from The Athénée de Luxembourg, motivated to reach a result that would allow our school to set new standards in the above-mentioned domains. They would take part in jobshadowing or in-service training activities. We hope that in the long run, the efforts made by the organisers and the participants of the project will have brought about changes where problems were detected and identified. Those changes in the organisation of the daily life at school - mostly but not exclusively for the benefit of our pupils - will then be institutionalised.
