The project "Accompagnement et mise en relation vers l'emploi durable", coordinated by the Mission d'Insertion des Jeunes de la province Sud, will involve one volunteer from germany and last 12 months. At MIJ, the young volunteer will discover the issues faced by young Caledonians related to unemployment and training and help them towards their social inclusion. One of his/her main tasks, will be to host, organize and promote profesional inclusion in the South province. The main mission of the volunteers at MIJ and particulary at Phare Emplois Jeunes, will be to help young people from New Caledonia to find a job. During their EVS experience, the German volunteer will have the opportunity to participate to many events in the South province and will get in touch with different people and sometimes far from urban areas. Europe remains for many young Caledonians a mystery and the volunteer will also be the perfect ambassador of mobility programs and will thus share his/her living experience with the New Caledonians. Actually, one of the issues of this project could be "Youth speaks to Youth" because it is quite an important part of this project. At MIJ, the volunteer will also discover Oceanian cultures and will better understand the issues and needs of young New Caledonians, especially those coming from remote tribal areas.
