The Academy of European Public Law (the Academy), in operation for 19 years, is a legal studies program for postgraduate level students and experienced practitioners interested in furthering their knowledge of Europe’s different national public law systems, developing their skills of reasoning and comparative analysis, and networking with Europe’s most renowned specialists in European Public Law called the European Group of Public Law (EGPL). Run by the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), the Academy is a 3-week program on the most current topics in European public law. Lectures and seminars are delivered by EGPL members, which number over 200 and range from recent PhD holders to some of the greatest minds on European Public Law, from leading universities all over Europe. In the final days of the Academy, students attend the annual EGPL reunion. The Academy embraces multilingualism, and as a result, all lectures, interactive seminars, presentations and discussions are conducted in English and French. The key objectives are to create deliverables on European Public Law in digitized format, increase dissemination of deliverables, and raise awareness of the Academy and the importance of European Public Law.Activities related to the proposal are: the creation of the academic program, compilation and digitization of didactic material, annual communications program, management of the application process, distribution of didactic materials, delivery of lectures and seminars, recording of lectures, organization of activities related to students defence of dissertations, creation and distribution of certificates and diplomas, and other administrative affairs related to management of the course, creation and distribution of an e-newsletter, the creation of new dynamic website and its maintenance and content feeding, the montage of video recordings of select lectures and their upload to website and open source channels.
