Today, more than ever, is evident the importance of initiatives that would promote entrepreneurship among young people as an effective way and with a positive effect on long-term for the sustainable economy. To reach this goal it is necessary that young people from different countries interact with each other and to be aware not only about different cultures but also about current issues at national, European and global level. The main objective of the project ECO + is to undertake a new initiative in the fight against youth unemployment, promoting the ecological agriculture among European young people in order that they can use its advantages, respecting at the same time the fundamental principles of the sustainable development. + ECO is a multilateral youth exchange project that will take place in the context of Erasmus + program with the participation of 32 young people between 18 and 28 years, and 4 monitors from 2 countries of the European Union (Spain and Bulgaria) and 2 Neighbor Countries (Moldova and the Russian Federation). The ECO + project aims to encourage the exchange of experiences and ideas about labor issues with the support of professionals, entrepreneurs and employment technicians in various debates, lectures, conferences and workshops. But it also focuses on the environmental problems, trying to give training to the participants concerning the protection of the environment and the healthy lifestyle, creating this way a positive long-term effect. The young people will have to present the achievements of their countries in the field of ecological agriculture and thus the project participants through informal education would acquire fundamental knowledge, not only on how to use the natural resources sustainably and respecting the environment, but also good practices will be exchanged and their creativity will be stimulated, providing them with important new skills and encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit. Regarding the methodology it will be used non-formal learning about or ecological agriculture stressing on the creativity and the participation of the young people, contributing to their personal development, encouraging their initiative and their social inclusion, and increasing employment opportunities. During the workshops and the lectures young people will be the protagonists, they will be the facilitators of information, and they will acquire new skills and abilities their active participation. Given the current employment situation of young people in each of the participating countries the ecological agriculture could be seen as an opportunity for self-employment, and a way to promote healthy living and the preservation of the environment. The options to optimize the available natural resources in each country will be discussed, exchanging the bestest practices and sharing ideas, experiences and finding new ways to promote self-employment and sustainable economy. However, the project also aims to bring together the countries of the European Union and the Neighbor Countries, revealing the opportunities offered by the Erasmus + Program, emphasizing on youth initiatives, the European Voluntary Service and YOUTHPASS.
