ABRIENDO HORIZONTES A LA FORMACIÓN

The project is based on a principle of inclusiveness in an attempt to develop a global vision and a cross-sectional dimension in a closer cooperative working relationship. The plan implements a point of convergence of our three professional profiles: ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT , MICROCOMPUTER SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS and TRADE, broadening its scope. As reflected in the name of our project "Opening Horizons for (Professional)Training" we have expanded our presence in more countries and companies and to offer more professional, linguistic and cultural opportunities to our students. The outcome is a project where we want to integrate two main aspects: labour, internationalizing the professional experience and personal, enriching their personal development. OBJECTIVES The project is aimed at eleven students from our school studying one of the above mentioned vocational training degrees. The feedback of the project allow us to know different ways of conducting professional practice to share with the rest of the parties involved. - To mentor our students to share internship tracking in different vocational training degrees offered in our educational centre. - To learn new and innovative teaching methods to enrich our teaching practice. - To improve the language skills of both the participants and our group project work. For students, improve their CV, as a result of their training experience in a foreign country and develop a personal experience through cultural integration in the new environment. The MAIN OBJECTIVE is the students’ entrance into the labour market. ACTIVITIES PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES : - To contact companies and establish the training programme and the project plan (arrangments of visits ). - To prepare the participants in terms of linguistic competence and technical and practical instruction. - To organize the logistic support for participants (trip, accommodation , host organization , etc.). PROJECT DEVELOPMENT : The companies play an active and crucial role during training in the workplace and are committed to following the scheduled training activities previously agreed with the school . The workplace mentor ensure that the project objectives are achieved by the candidates. METHODOLOGY The methodology used in this project is linked to, on the one hand, in the area of study known as Training in the Workplace and on the other hand, the opportunities offered by the Erasmus programme + . RESULTS AND EXPECTED IMPACT We have three objectives: to spread, use, and contribute to the development of European policies. - External recognition of our work, both locally and community. This will enable us to engage new partners for the future and a positive public perception of the rest of the community. - Once the project is completed, other institutions will benefit from our experience to improve their educational system, promoting lifelong learning, increasing our prestige and our partners’. - To establish international collaborative learning links. The results of this programme will be reflected on the part of the participants, on the training center, on the partners and on society . THE PARTICIPANTS : Exchanging their experiences, improving linguistic competence and producing the desired academic and professional outcomes . THE TRAINING CENTER: dissemination of the programme to the rest of the students ; collaboration with the City of Móstoles. THE PARTNERS: favourable publicity for the company and the project and cutural exchange. SOCIETY: improving employment opportunities. LONG-TERM BENEFIT The project is part of the Internationalization chapter, in our Educational Project. In case of withdrawal from the European Union finance, the centre would find a way to ensure the sustainability of the project through the following financial aid: - Direct contribution. - Partners project collaboration. - Voluntary Contributions from other companies which have collaboration training agreements with our institution .
