The project "Who cares... - we do!" is teachers mobility project and strongly connects with European Program of School Development which has been elaborated in our school and one of its main concerns is the problem of students drop-out, school failures, their reasons and causes. The project will be realized within cooperation with Aplicaproposta LDA–Braga mob – host institution which will be responsible for organizing two-week teachers mobility and logistic and organizational support. The team which has been elaborating European Program of School Development has already indicated program presumptions viz. after deep analysis and diagnosis of immediate school need, its weak points they have concluded that we should direct teachers trainings exactly on the problem of drop-outs. We have also transparently determined goals and topic range of such training. The realization of that project and delivering training for such a large group of teachers of our school (two groups of 14 teachers including 2 coordinators each in August 2015 and 2016 in Portugal) will create a platform for school staff to act as a team order to get the effect of synergy which will immensely increase the school work quality. The project is for all the teachers in our school: both academic and vocational subjects, both the teachers of technical school and junior secondary school. The presence of coordinators is indispensable because they will guarantee the course participants safety and security, both during course classes/workshops and during the journey as well, which will definitely ensure the comfort of work and sojourn. Within the project realization there will be 3 stages: -linguistic and cultural preparation of participants -mobility – taking part in training in Portugal (10 weekdays of workshops and classes) -project implementation into school activities With Braga mob institution we have already discussed and elaborated detailed training time table; its contents, training materials, the ways of monitoring and evaluating. The course organizer will not only prepare the course materials but appropriate materials for online work (materials warm-up and follow-up). The main goal of realizing this project are: -introducing effective method of teaching at school -preventing drop-out (working with possible drop-outs) -the importance of cooperation with parents -improving teacher command of English -learning new innovative methods of working with weak students -vocational education quality -contributing acquired knowledge and skills into European Program School Development and its realization -development of interpersonal skills including decision making and conflict solving -sensitivity to cultural and mental diversity The active part of such a large group of teacher will let us realize these presumptions and introduce them into school activities, will contribute into European Program of School Development and its realization. After the first year of the project realization the course program may be modified, the teachers after training will be better-prepared to determine target groups and implement changes onto the large group of students. The teachers will share the acquired knowledge and skills with a school social worker who will use them in cooperation with other institutions which deal with social aid, youth organizations and independent organizations which deal with drug addictions and others. We expect that the realization of the project will give the following results professional -professional development -learning new work methods -learning about system of education in other country and ways of solving problem concerning the youth Increasing professional mobility Cultural -getting to know new country, culture, its habits & history -interpersonal skills including communication and decision making -solving problems and dealing with stress -sensitivity to mental and cultural diversity Linguistic – improving the command of English Another result is also getting by the teachers several certificates such as: Course Completion Certificate, Europass Mobility, Europass Language Passport, Certificates of Project Realization Now and again within the project cycle we will be promoting and disseminating the idea and results of the project. We will have the project website which will be systematically updated, on which we will share our experience with other teachers. We will also organize the special conference during which we will present all important information about the project and its results. After each year of the project realization we will put the information in the local and professional press, the municipal office and education authorities will also be kept informed. At each stage of project realization and after it, it will be evaluated.
