Gold seeking is the first phase of gold washing and a profession once commonin both regions. It refers to the surveying of the area to find the best places tostart the exploration of the gold. Craftsmen involved in nature related craftsoperate only sporadically in both regions. There are innumerable crafts characteristic ofboth regions, but practised only in one or the other. The grant raises awareness of craftscurrently present in both regions with the indirect aim of helping the sale of productsin each other’s market.
