Our school, a Bavarian "Mittelschule", is attended by a lot of pupils who are not able to communicate in German because they originally come from other countries. Therefore, in a lot of cases the only way of communication between a teacher and a pupil is to use the English language.
For our German pupils English becomes more and more important, because it is spoken nearly everywhere in the world....
