ARCHEST project aims at connecting four ancient Roman towns in Italy, Slovenia and Serbia: Aquileia, Emona (Ljubljana) Sirmium (Sremska Mitrovica) and Viminacium (Kostolac). During the Roman Empire, a route linked Aquileia to the Black Sea through Emona, Sirmium and Viminacium.
