European certification for databse experts : Surveys were carried out in order to ascertain possible skills gaps amongst database professionals, with a view to compiling a profile for a database expert. Following this, teaching methodologies were compiled and workshops held to fill this perceived skills gap. This project started in 2002 and lasted 30 months.
