De separata räddningsenheter som finns på olika sidor om gränsen utvecklas till en mer effektiv och samordnad räddningstjänst i det vidsträckta fjällområdet. Genom projektet kommer fjällräddare i båda länderna bl a att få gemensam kompetensutveckling och bättre och samordnad kommunikationsutrustning.
