Promoting access to international trade for small companies : The CIEL project offers a distance learning tool for European SMEs-SMIs involved in international trade. The case studies presented and the flexibility of the programme in use reflect the suitability of this tool for employees in this sector. This project started in 2002 and lasted 24 months.
