The project includes training organisations, which are engaged in developing permanent Russia -related expertise that will help them offer research and training services and consultationassistance to the public and private sector. Russia -related expertise is also supported by launchinga multi-disciplinary research network that will promote the establishment of Barents-relatedresearch traditions.

The purpose of the project is to set up an analysis and database on the structure of education,compare the educational needs of Lapland and Murmansk areas and draw up an anticipativeplan based on this.
