The Spinach for Popeye exchange programme exists for more than 15 years now. Apart from an exchange of professionals, it includes an annual youth meeting for especially socially disadvantaged young persons with an increased need of support. This project is part of an International Exchange Programme called “Spinach for Popeye” which is for both workers in the youth field and young people with whom they work. The programme consists of a bi-annual practitioner congress (last hosted in Falkirk Nov. 09) and a bi-annual youth exchange -in Scotland in June 2010.
