7ème FORMATION EN ENTREPRISE A L'ETRANGER (ESPAGNE et GB) POUR LA SEP PAINLEVE
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

I’ve been in charge of the European section in my vocational high school PAUL PAINLEVE in Oyonnax since September 2008. In 2009, I applied for the first time to the European Agency for funding which was accepted. With this support, the European section of my school went to England in March 2010. This is now our seventh grant application which enables our school to organize students' mobility to Bournemouth (GB) and (for the second time) to Salamanca (Spain). The students involved are preparing a BTEC in trade science and administrative management. To carry out the task and my European project, I’ve set up since September 2009 a working group in our vocational school consisting of English teachers and more recently of Spanish teachers, interested in taking part in our European section. We have renewed this year the organisation of a 12 months programme in order that our 4 students of European section can go to England and 2 of our Spanish section can go to Spain in March/April 2016. For the second consecutive year, we've decided to collaborate with Tellus Group, provider of work training in Spain and have started to work with Easylangues, partner of English 2000 in Bournemouth, providers of work training in Great Britain who placed our students in shops (3 week internship in Spain and 4 weeks in England) in order to develop better professional understanding. Teachers from France and members from Tellus Group in Spain and English 2000 in England were there of the way to help and guide students if needed and they looked after them on-site. I have set objectives and negotiated training targets with our partners “Tellus Group in Spain and Eaylangues and English 2000 in England The project has 3 facets : - a pedagogical facet at the beginning during preparation of work placement in order to help students in their future internship and then, at the end to help them in writing what they’ve done and learned. - a Professional facet when young people are on work placements in England and Spain. A part of the professional skills has been negotiated with tutors during the preliminary visits. The skills have been subjected to revision with partners at the beginning of the training period in line with students’ language level if necessary. In that way, students had a better and more meaningfull experience. - a cultural and transversal facet which is part of a promising project ERASMUS PLUS. This facet is necessary because it’s directly linked to our school’s activities in the European section when our students perform well in international tests as BTEC with European option ; It’s a perfect match with the economic sector needs in our region around our town Oyonnax which looks for autonomous and professional young people who speak foreign languages in order to compete internationally .
