SAGE+ project main idea was to transfer the approach and products of the SAGE project to Slovakia. The SAGE+ project responded to demographic change and low social and economic activity of the 50+ citizens by the creation of competency based training and a set of assessment methods for organisations and individual citizens who work towards meeting the needs of people in their mid or later life – 50+ citizens in Slovakia. The consortium was built with the special attention to guarantee the successful implementation: two foreign partners worked also in the SAGE project, and 5 Slovak partners come from 4 different places in order to disseminate SAGE+ project products and outputs widely from the sector, culture, and geographical point of views. The main products of the project are: State of the arts report, How to train in SAGE+ course - Handbook for trainers, SAGE+ 5 module blended course - 1st prototype and finalized version ready for national accreditation.
